UTStarcom to Present at the Next Generation Packet Transport Networks 2014

HONG KONG, Sept. 22, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UTStarcom (Nasdaq:UTSI), a global telecommunications infrastructure provider, today announced that it will participate in the upcoming Next Generation Packet Transport Networks Conference in India on September 23 and 25, 2014.

UTStarcom will send a delegation of seven representatives, led by Mr. William Wong, Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Min Xu, Chief Financial Officer.

Next Generation Packet Transport Networks is a prominent Indian telecom industry event and will address topical industry developments from around the globe. UTStarcom will give a presentation on its Software Defined Networking (SDN) solution and its ability to help network operators better monetize network assets and offer new value-add and dynamic services. The Company's attendees will also participate in two panel discussions titled "Saving Capex and Opex and Delivering New Services with Carrier SDN" and "Defining the Next Generation Metro Edge and Backhaul Networks."
